OPERATOR/CREW MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Section I.
CONSUMABLE OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE SUPPLIES
3-1. General
This section contains the consumable mainte-
nance and operating supplies required to operate
and maintain the generator set. Refer to Table 3-1.
3-2. Explanation of Columns in the
Tabular List of Consumable
Maintenance and Operating Sup-
plies
a. Component Application. This column iden-
tifies the component application of each mainte-
nance or operating supply item.
b. National Stock Number. This column indi-
cates the National Stock Number assigned to the
item and will be used for requisitioning purposes.
c. Description. This column indicates the item
name and brief description.
d. Quantity Required for Initial Opera-
tion. This column indicates the quantity of each
maintenance or operating supply item required for
initial operation of the equipment.
e. Quantity Required for Eight Hours Oper-
ation. This column indicates the estimated quan-
tities required for an average 8 hours of operation.
f. Notes. This column indicates informative
notes keyed to data appearing in a preceding
column.
