If the generator set fails to operate properly, turn to the trouble-
shooting section.
Use TM 38-750 to report any mechanical defects.
WARNING
Before each start up operation,
inspect both drive keys, bushing,
tightness and alignment.
Check
for a clearance of approximately
1/2 inch between each pulley as-
sembly and the sidewall of fuel
tank.
A properly positioned drive
key should not extend beyond end
of its shaft.
